08 Dec 2018
Firefighters have spent the early hours of saturday morning tackling a large house fire in Armadale.

Crews were called to the Osment Street address at 6am following a Triple Zero (000) call.

They arrived within 6 minutes to find fire burning through the roof of the house.

Firefighters wearing breathing appartus entered the burning building to search for occupants and attack the blaze from inside.

Luckily, everyone had safely evacuated prior to crews' arrival.

It took more than 30 firefighters 43 minutes to gain the upper hand of the fire.

The cause of the incident will be investigated.
