Arson Squad to Investigate Fire in Carlton

A fire in a single storey, single fronted home/office took twenty minutes to bring under control earlier this evening.

Date: March 8, 2011 
Time: 21:57 hours

Address: Lygon St, CARLTON.

The building measuring five metres by twenty five metres was well alight when MFB firefighters arrived on scene.

The blaze has been deemed to be of a suspicious nature and the Victoria Police Arson Squad will be called in to investigate.

The premise has been vacant for some time and no injuries were recorded.
