Automotive workshop fire

The front section of the premises including the office area and automotive workshop area has been severely damaged by fire.

TIME: 0315 hrs        CALL No.: 0108    

Warde St/Moreland St, Footscray 
                               
Fire involved a single storey brick building 25x30m.

Several vehicles, plus the contents in the automotive area has also been severely damaged by fire.

The remainder of the premises has been damaged by heat, smoke and water.

The fire was under control in 40 minutes. Breathing apparatus in operation. Fire duty in place. MFB Fire Investigation Unit attending to establish the cause.
