Bourke St fire

MFB firefighters were called to a fire in a Bourke St laundry this evening.

They arrived in five minutes and upon investigation found a
fire in a laundry of a multi storey building.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus and using hose lines quickly contained the fire to the laundry.
Two levels of the building were evacuated due to the smoke logging.
The fire was deemed under control within eight minutes of arrival
A dryer was involved in the fire and the MFB Fire Investigators will attend during business hours tomorrow to determine a cause.
Police and Ambulance attended.
