Brunswick West unit fire

MFB firefighters were quickly on scene to a report of smoke issuing from the roof of a unit.

 TIME: 09:03 CALL No.: 5977

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters searched the premises for an unaccounted person. Unfortunately a deceased female was located. Fire damage was confined to the lounge room, whilst the remainder of the unit was smoke filled/damaged.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by police with the assistance of an MFB Fire Investigator.
