Brunswick house fire

MFB Fire Investigators will this morning be attending an overnight house fire in Brunswick

The one and two storey brick veneer home (approx. 15 x 30 m) was fully ablaze when first crews arrived. No-one was home at the time of the fire. The damage is extensive.

The fire was threatening both neighbouring properties and those residents were evacuated. Commander Harris praised the efforts of MFB firefighters on the efficiency of their firefighting tactics in successfully protecting both these neighbouring properties.

The fire took 30 minutes to bring under control, however fire duties will continue throughout the morning.
