Car catches fire in Brighton factory.

MFB firefighters responded to a car fire that was inside a single storey factory over the weekend.

Before an assessment of structural damage could be made MFB firefighter needed to clear the smoke form the building which took some time.

It took just on 30 minutes to bring the 50m x 30m factory fire under control.

The damage bill has been estimated at $100,000. The building was empty at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined but does not seem to be of a suspicious nature.
