Car crashes into garage door in Bundoora

MFB firefighters were called to Colby Grove in Bundoora about 8:30am this morning, following reports that a driver lost control of a vehicle and crashed into a garage door.

Crews arrived on scene to find an elderly woman trapped in the car and worked quickly to release her.

MFB Rescue operators performed a full cut out to free the occupant from the vehicle before the driver was placed in the care of Ambulance Victoria.

There was no structural damage to the building and the vehicle has been made safe.

Victoria Police will remain on scene to assist.
