The Paragon Cafe on Rathdowne Street was damaged by fire overnight.

Firefighters were called to the cafe, which was closed for business at the time of the fire, at 7.24pm on Sunday 10 May.

Black smoke was issuing from the cafe when first MFB firefighters arrived on scene and forced entry had to be made to the two storey premises.
