Crews battle factory blaze in Heidelberg

Firefighters attended a fire in a fibreglass factory in Beatrice Avenue just after 12:00pm

The factory was engulfed in flames when crews arrived on scene.
Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze to the 40metre by 60metre structure.
Nearby factories were evacuated as a precaution and a community warning has been issued.
Crews will remain on scene for the remainder of the day.
The cause of the fire is unknown and is being investigated.
