Crews battled heavy smoke at Coolaroo factory fire

MFB firefighters responded to a factory fire in Coolaroo just before 7pm this evening after a Triple Zero (000) caller raised the alarm.

Six appliances arrived on scene to an 80 meter by 30 meter structure producing a significant amount of smoke.

The fire was contained to one area of the factory and firefighters in Breathing Apparatus worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.

The blaze was brought under control in less than an hour.

There were no injuries.

Crews will remain on scene to fully ventilate the premise.
