Driver rescued after car into house crash in Pascoe Vale

MFB firefighters are on scene in Pascoe Vale where a car ploughed into a house this morning.

Crews were called to the incident in Rhodes Parade about 6.15am and arrived to find the driver still trapped inside the vehicle.

Firefighters worked quickly to free the patient and hand him over to Ambulance Victoria paramedics for treatment.

The car was then removed from the building and has now been towed.

Urban Search and Rescue firefighters remain on scene shoring up the building to ensure it's safe.
