Extensive damage after Bulleen house fire overnight

Firefighters will investigate the cause of a serious house fire in Bulleen yesterday afternoon.

MFB crews responded to the two-storey house fire about 5.30pm in Bulleen last night.

On arrival of fire crews found the house was fully involved, and additional appliances were despatched.

The fire was brought under control in 30 minutes, however damage to the building is extensive with partial collapse to some of the internal structure.

All occupants had evacuated the building before MFB crews arrived.

A City of Manningham Building Surveyor has been requested to attend to assess the structural integrity of the building and MFB Fire Investigators will be attending in the morning to determine a cause.

Damage to the building is estimated at approximately $600,000

Police and Ambulance Victoria attended.
