26 Mar 2015
The MFB was called to a report of a fire in the Moonee Valley Council depot last night

The first fire crews found three trucks in a three-sided shelter well-alight at the Council depot in Rutherford St Aberfeldie.  The shed formed part of a larger complex of buildings and housed dozens of vehicles and equipment.
The fire was contained to the immediate structure and contents and took about 30 minutes to bring under control.
The damage to the trucks and building was severe and estimated to be approximately $1,000,000.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.  There were no reports of any injuries.
