Fire at vacant St Albans house.

On arrival, firefighters were confronted with a fire in the front section of the vacant, single storey, weatherboard house.

The front section of the premise was extensively damaged by fire while the rear section has been damaged by heat and smoke. Level one asbestos procedures are in place. 

It was bought under control in 15 minutes and the cause of the fire is being investigated.

Approximately 16 firefighters attended.
