11 Mar 2014
MFB crews were called to assist SES after a fallen sign partially brought down a brick wall this morning.

Crews were called to Pascoe Vale Road, Strathmore, just after 4am.

Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) operators were dispatched to determine the extent of the damage.

The USAR crew determined the council building surveyor was required to check the structural integrity of the wall.

MFB resources reamined on scene for approximately two hours to ensure there was no further wall collapse.

The scene was handed over the Victoria Police about 6am.
