Fire destroys bungalow in Meadow Heights.

The bungalow has been completely destroyed in the blaze whilst damage to the house was confined to about twenty percent of the living area and its roof space.

The fire appears to have started in the rear bungalow and then spread in to the main house via the roof area.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were recorded. A cause has not yet been established and MFB investigators are currently.

The damage bill has been estimated at one hundred thousand dollars.

The fire took some twenty five minutes to bring under control.
