11 Nov 2016
MFB firefighters are currently battling a large fire which ripped through the Woolshed pub in Docklands this afternoon.

Crews were called to the premises in Harbour Esplanade just before 3pm.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus are mounting an aggressive attack on the fire from inside and using a Teleboom appliance to douse the flames from outside.

Firefighters are fighting to stop the fire from spreading to neighbouring buildings.

All occupants have been safely evacuated and two people have been treated by Ambulance Victoria paramedics for what is believed to be minor smoke inhalation. The community is advised to avoid the area due to congestion and smoke in the area.

The cause of the fire will be investigated.
