Firefighters respond to shop fire in Hawthorn

Crews have arrived to the two-storey building on Glenferrie Rd to find it well alight after several calls to Triple Zero.

Firefighters in Breathing Apparatus with hose lines entered the front of the shop.

The blaze was under control within 14 minutes.

Traffic will be disrupted on Glenferrie Rd.

Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police are also assisting.

The cause of the fire is unknown and Fire Investigators will attend.
