MFB crews have promptly extinguished a suspicious fire which broke out at an abandoned property in Broadmeadows this morning.

MFB crews have promptly extinguished a suspicious fire which broke out at an abandoned property in Broadmeadows this morning.
Firefighters were called to the Cuthbert Street premises at 11am after neighbours spotted flames issuing from the roof.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus mounted an internal attack to stop the fire from spreading.
It took crews 15 minutes to get the blaze under control.
A search of the property confirmed there was no one inside at the time.
Victoria Police will investigate.
