Fireys attack suspicious fire in Ringwood

Firefighters have battled a suspicious fire in Ringwood overnight.

Crews were called to the Warrandyte Road home at 3.11am.
The fire was located at the rear of a vacant home.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and attacked the blaze containing it to the rear rooms of the property.
After 33 minutes the fire was declared under control and deemed suspicious. Police will investigate the cause.
Eight appliances and 23 firefighters attended the incident.
