Flames shoot from windows at Lalor house fire

Fire crews were confronted with flames shooting out of all windows when they arrived at a Lalor house fire late Saturday night.

Just before 11pm on December 29, MFB received several calls to attend a house fire in Teal Crescent, Lalor.
On arrival, firefighters were confronted with a fire in a single storey brick house of approximately 14 squares with flames coming out of most of the windows and through a section of the roof area.

The premises including the contents were extensively damaged by fire. Crews deemed the fire under control in 15 minutes.

Approximate damage has been estimated at $350,000. The cause of the fire has been deemed suspicious and Police are investigating.
