MFB firefighters are responding to an Automatic alarm on the fire system at a factory on Wellington Road in Mulgrave.

Crews were called out just after 3:30 this afternoon.

On arrival crews were confronted with a factory 150metres x 150metres heavily impacted by flooding from a large diameter burst water main which had also caused some structural collapse internally.

MFB has considerable resources onsite in an effort to mitigate damage and CFA appliances are also assisting.
