Four escape from Ringwood house fire

A single storey weatherboard house in Ringwood was damaged by fire early this morning.

Crews were called to the Nelson Street home at 2:14am.
The fire had spread into the roof space causing an estimated $20,000 damage. 
There were four adults in the house at the time who evacuated themselves safely. 
It took under 30 minutes for the fire to be declared under control.  The fire has been deemed to be not suspicious. 
There were no injuries reported.
