28 Jun 2017
A Glenroy shed has been damaged by fire overnight.

Crews were called to the View Street home at 10.43pm after neighbours reported fire and explosions coming from a shed at the rear of the property; other Triple Zero callers reported flames two storeys high.

MFB firefighters requested further appliances to attack the fire. The shed measures approximately 10 by 8 metres and was thought to contain a vehicle and an unknown number of cylinders.

The fire was declared under control after 33 minutes.

The fire has been called suspicious and Victoria Police will be investigating.
