Hawthorn Restaurant Fire

“Home Dining Room” Restaurant sustained damage after the kitchen was burnt out this morning.

The fire in the two storey brick building was confined to the ground floor kitchen area although the first storey suffered some smoke and heat damage. MFB specialist investigators are proceeding to determine the cause. The fire was brought under control in twenty five minutes and no injuries were recorded.
