House fire Hotham St, Seddon

MFB received a call for a house fire in Seddon at 10.29am on Sunday 26 April 2015.

On arrival the MFB crews found flames issuing from the rear of the single storey, weatherboard property. 

MFB firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire on the rear of the building removed the roofing to check for fire spread in the roof space. 
The fire was contained to the rear of the 15m x 5 m house and was declared under control after 32 minutes.

The cause is unknown at this stage.
