House fire in Brighton

Crews were called to a home in Hampton St at 9:20pm this evening.

Firefighters arrived on scene in six minutes and commenced an aggressive internal attack wearing Breathing Apparatus.

The fire was deemed under control at 9:44pm and contained to the garage.

The house was heavily smoke-logged.

The home's occupants self-evacuated before crews arrived and no injuries have been reported.

At this stage the cause of the fire is unknown.
