House fire in Epping

Firefighters were called to a fire at a home in Narina Way at 10:10pm last night.

Crews arrived on scene to find the house fully involve in fire. All of the home's occupants had evacuated.

Firefighters in Breathing Apparatus conducted an aggressive internal attack on the blaze, finding that the fire had entered the building's roof space.

Crews worked hard to protect neighboring homes, bringing the blaze under control at 10:51pm.

Police and ambulance crews also assisted on scene.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and firefighters remain on scene this morning.
