House fire in Keilor East 2011

MFB crews from Keilor East and Ascot Vale were called out to a house fire early this morning.

Date: November 30, 2011 
Time: 03:00 hours     
Call Number: 13449

Address: Brees Road, Keilor East

Due to the spread of fire additional resources were dispatched to assist. The fire had spread from the second level through to the roof cavity.

The fire was brought under control in 29 mins, and crews will remain at the scene for some hours to ensure the fire is completely extinguished.

No working smoke alarms have been located.

The cause appears to be electrical and no full estimate of damage is yet available.
