MFB and CFA firefighters worked quickly to extinguish a house fire that ripped through a home on Tenterden Pl late last night.

A neighbour raised the alarm at 11:26pm. Crews noted heavy smoke in the area while en route and requested additional resources.

The single storey brick home was well alight when crews arrived. More than 30 firefighters battled the blaze and brought it under control in 35 minutes.

All occupants evacuated safely and there were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire will be investigated.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also in attendance.
