House fire in Pascoe Vale under control

Firefighters were called to a fire at a single-storey weatherboard house on Pascoe Vale Rd at 6:38pm this evening.

Crews arrived on scene within four minutes, and found the house fully involved.

Fighterfighters in Breathing Apparatus entered the premises as it was unknown whether anyone was inside.

The fire was brought under control in 40 minutes. No injuries have been reported.

As asbestos was found on the roof, asbestos procedures have been put in place. 

The fire has been deemed suspicious.

Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria assisted on scene.
