Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board and Swinburne University of Technology have applied to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) for exemption from the Equal Opportunity Act 1995 to allow them to give preference to Indigenous persons and persons from under-represented culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
