Investigation under way into Reservoir house fire

Police will investigate a suspicious fire in Reservoir this morning.

Firefighters were called to the Cheddar Road home at 10.08am.

On arrival they found the single-storey, brick home fully alight.

There were initial fears that a man was unaccounted for in the blaze, but a search by firefighters found no one inside. The man has since been located.

The fire was brought under control at 10.24am.

Seven fire trucks attended the incident.

The scene has been handed over to police.
