MFB & CFA bring Lalor fire under control

A single storey weatherboard house in Lalor suffered severe damage after a fire that spread quickly from the front room.

The fire was brought under control in thirty five minutes in a joint effort by the MFB and CFA. The cause of the blaze is believed to be of an electrical nature and no injuries were recorded. The fire was confined to the front and roof sections of the house and firefighters were required to don breathing apparatus to reach the seat of the blaze.
