Laverton North factory fire

Firefighters have had a busy night battling a factory fire in Laverton North.

Crews were called to the Plummer Road site just after 9.30pm and arrived to find a forklift, rubbish dumpster and other areas of the factory on fire.

At its height, the fire was approximately 120 x 50 metres in size.

Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control within 50 minutes.
