Lucky escape after bar heater causes bedroom fire.

Seven residents from a share accommodation premises were forced to evacuate after a fire started from combustibles coming in to contact with a bar heater.

The bedroom where the bar heater was located was severely damaged by fire. There were no smoke alarms fitted.

A large portion of the premises has been damaged by heat and smoke and the occupants will need to be relocated.

It was bought under control in 10 minutes.
