Male patient fell from scaffold into concrete pit

In a joint operation with Ambulance Victoria, MFB firefighters have helped to remove a male from a concrete pit he had fallen into on a construction site in Cremorne.

MFB's High Angle Rescue Team (HART) worked alongside Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police to stabilise and then remove the conscious patient from the pit.

The man fell a distance of approximately four metres, and this delicate operation took about an hour to resolve.
