MFB and CFA firefighters battled a shed fire in Coolaroo earlier this morning.

Crews were called to the Marcus Court property just before 6am.

Neighbours who range Triple Zero said they could hear breaking glass and see flames.

Crews arrived on scene and found a shed completely involved in fire and threatening adjoining houses.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus attacked the fire and protected the threatened houses.

The fire was declared under control after 20 minutes.

At this stage the cause is unknown and will be investigated.
