MFB and CFA turn out to house fire in Glen Waverley.

When MFB and CFA firefighters arrived on scene the fire was already burning up through the roof.

Time: 17:10 hours

Address: Chapman Blvd, Glen Waverley.

The damage bill has been estimated at $200 thousand and no one was home at the time of the fire.

The cause will be investigated by MFB specialists.

A watching duty was put in place to dampen down hotspots.

It’s unknown if smoke alarms were fitted as the internal ceiling had completely collapsed.
