11 appliances and 38 firefighters fought the blaze

Just before 8pm this evening MFB received a fire call to a caravan factory fire in Scammel Street, Campbellfield.

Arriving on scene crews found the 40m X 60m building fully involved, and there was a partial collapse of the structure whilst crews fought the fire.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus quickly brought the fire under control in just over thirty minutes and MFB will remain on scene for the rest of the night.

The fire investigation unit will determine the cause in the morning.
