Arriving on scene firefighters found the house fully involved

Just after 4pm this afternoon MFB received calls to a house fire in North Road, Hughesdale.

Arriving on scene firefighters found the house fully involved in fire and worked quickly to contain the fire and protect neighbouring premises. 
The fire was brought under control in just over twenty minutes and the scene has been handed over to police.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.
Eight appliances and twenty five firefighters fought the blaze.
