Multiple calls received for the incident, house fully involved

Earlier this morning crews received fire calls to a single storey house in Maidstone.

On arrival crews found the house fully involved in fire, that was threatening houses either side of the property.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus conducted a search of the property and tackled the blaze, which was made difficult due to a partial roof collapse at the rear.

The blaze was brought under control in forty minutes and MFB remains on scene.

Seven appliances and twenty four firefighters fought the blaze, which has been deemed suspicious.
