MFB crews tackle house fire in Loch Street, Coburg

Fire declared under control in just over thirty minutes

Just before 7pm this evening MFB crews received calls to a house fire in Loch Street, Coburg.

Arriving on scene firefighters found the front of the property fully involved with the blaze threatening neighbouring houses.

Two occupants were accounted for and evacuated by MFB from the back yard.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus attacked the fire internally knocking it down inside the house, and the fire was deemed under control in thirty three minutes.

The cause of the fire will be investigated.

Nine appliances and twenty four firefighters fought the blaze.
