MFB fire truck involved in accident with pedestrian

Shortly after 10am today, a MFB fire truck was involved in an accident at the corner of Nicholson Street and Moreland Road, Coburg, injuring a 70-year-old pedestrian.

The circumstances of the accident have not yet been determined, however the fire truck was not responding to an emergency incident. Victoria Police investigations are underway.

The thoughts of all MFB staff are with the man’s family at this time.
