MFB fire investigators will attend the scene of a fire which ripped through a shed in Westmeadows this morning.

Firefighters from MFB and CFA were called to the blaze at Walpa Court just before 11am.

Crews made quick work of the fire, containing it to the rear of the property and stopping it from spreading to the house and neighbouring premises.

The fire was declared under control within 45 minutes.

A shed, fence and carport were damaged in the incident.

It’s believed the fire began in the shed but the cause of the fire is yet to be determined and MFB Fire Investigators will investigate
