Box Hill blaze quickly contained by MFB Firefighters

MFB firefighters are responding to a building fire in Prospect Street in Box Hill.

MFB crews arrived on scene four minutes after the first call to Triple Zero (000). 

 

Approximately 30 MFB firefighters got the fire under control just 40 minutes after arriving on scene. 

Smoke remains in the area and a Community Advice message has been issued. Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria are at the scene.
