Campervan fire causes major delays on Tullamarine Freeway

Two MFB fire trucks attended a campervan fire on the Tullamarine Freeway near the Western Ring Road in Tullamarine this afternoon.

Crews were called out at 3.27pm and were assisted on scene by Victoria Police.

Although the male driver and his dog exited the campervan safely, the van and contents were destroyed in the fire.

No injuries were sustained.

The fire is not suspicious and the cause is unknown.

The fire caused major delays on the Tullamarine Freeway.
