Crews attend barbecue fire in Lalor

MFB firefighters responded to a fire involving a barbecue on Parfrey Avenue at 5:24pm this evening.

The blaze was reported as a gas bottle explosion.

On arrival, crews found two people with burns. One had jumped into the pool before moving into the shower to cool the burns.

Both have been transported to hospital by Ambulance for further treatment.

Three appliances and eight firefighters attended.

MFB Fire Investigators will attend the incident.
