01 Mar 2019
MFB firefighters have made quick work of a fire which engulfed a Braybrook unit this afternoon, and stopped it from spreading to the neighbouring building.

The first responding crew arrived to the Elizabeth Street address, just seven minutes after the first call to Triple Zero (000).

Thankfully, two occupants safely evacuated the building and escaped without injury.

Firefighters from Sunshine, Footscray, Spotswood, and North Laverton managed to get the fire under control just seven minutes after the first crew arrived on scene.

The fire has been deemed as suspicious and will be investigated by Victoria Police.
